What Are The Best Web Design Software in 2021

web design software

WordPress, Squarespace, and Wix are among the top web design software. These three have stood out over their competitors. In this article, you’ll get to read about five of the best web design tools in 2021.

5) Adobe XD – (Expert Design)

4 Things I learned from Adobe XD | UX Collective

Adobe XD is a great choice for beginners who want to break into graphic designing or web designing without wasting much time on figuring out how everything works. Whether it’s prototyping, wireframing, or just looking for ways to make your designs stand out, Adobe XD has got you covered! It’s also free with a membership lasting one year which will cost you around $25 per month after that if you want to continue using it.

Although it doesn’t work on Linux, it is a versatile web design software with support for both Mac and Windows. Unfortunately, though the features are somehow limited, so if you need something more advanced then Adobe XD might not be the right tool for you.

4) Foundation – (Responsive Design Tools)

If you’re tired of using Bootstrap or want to switch things up a little bit then Foundation might just be perfect for you! It’s been around since 2010 and offers superb flexibility when designing websites. You can easily create custom layouts and themes without any hassle. Although it hasn’t gained much traction among the big players, Foundation is still a great web design tool that deserves your attention and might just be what you need.

3) HTML5 UP – (Responsive Design Tools)

HTML5up – Free 20+ responsive HTML5 & CSS3 website templates | WebQe

HTML5 UP has been around since 2013, but doesn’t get as much credit as it deserves which is why I’ve put in quite an amount of effort in this list to include this great web design software! It’s completely free for commercial use and there are paid add-ons as well if you want more stuff in it. There’s a whole bunch of templates and themes available for both beginners and advanced users. It also has some really cool plugins that are worth checking out if you’re into it.

2) Wix – (Website Builder)

Wix has been around since 2006 but became famous in recent years with its easy-to-use website builder interface which allows even complete novices to build their own professional-looking websites without any hassle.

It’s been used on over 100 million websites so far and there’s a big chance that you might already know someone who built their own website using Wix. It also makes use of responsive design tools ensuring that your website will look good on any device and supports over 20 languages.

1) Squarespace – (Website Builder)

If you’re looking for the best web design software out there then Squarespace might just fit the bill. There’s a reason why it’s been around since 2005 because it really works well! When I first started making websites I was a complete noob, but thanks to the intuitive user interface of Squarespace it was easy for me to build my own website and even start an e-shop. It also helps that its slogan is “Build it beautiful” because as far as web design goes; this company certainly knows what they’re doing!

… And that rounds up our list for now! There are plenty more out there including Apple’s own Swift Playground which works on iOS devices, but it might not be the best tool for beginners. If you think that we should add any other web design tools to this list or have some more suggestions then feel free to leave a comment below!
